‘Biker’s Adda’ is a movie trying to make something out of the passion of biking and biking stunts. The story of a Biker’s Adda is good, but director Rajesh Latkar fails to conceptualize the script and screenplay which can keep you engaged.
The story moves very slowly in both halves and fails to make the emotional connect between the characters. The action scenes are not upto the standard (Actually you can see it as dramabazi). Biking Stunts are the saving grace of the film.
4 friends (3 of them orphans) are passionate about biking stunts and want to make a career out of it. But more focus is given to our hero Vicky (Santosh Juvekar) and friends Rishi, Abhi and Salim play the second fiddle. They want to join the Biker’s Adda, a sporting entity (don’t know the motive of it). Their mentor and father-figure Krish, who has raised them as young orphans objects to them joining the adda. The owners of Biker’s Adda are involved in many criminal and illegal activities and police do not take any action against them (don’t know why?). Why Krish is against Biker’s Adda? Will our hero will be able to save Biker’s adda from the illegal activities, forms rest of the story.
Since this is an action drama movie, there are little scope for acting. Also the film-makers failed to create an emotional connect between the characters and with very shabby dialogues, you get screen presence rather than acting.
Movie Review: Biker’s Adda – Fails short on the expectations
Director Rajesh Latkar fails the beautiful story to convert into a thrilling and gripping movie. More emphasis is given on action than the screenplay and that’s why the movie viewing feels dragged and boring.
Cinematography by Shakeel A. Khan is excellent and able to give us crisp scenes all the time. Editor Mansoor Azmi does a very good job and technical the movie is sharp. Music is heart-warming and all songs suits the occasion.
Though ‘Biker’s Adda’ is technically sleek, it falls flat in story-telling and screenplay department. Overall it is one-time watchable, for the stunts, technical aspects and music.
